Benzalkonium Chloride 50% solution (BKC) is a water-soluble colorless liquid compound with a cationic content of 49 to 51 % w/w. It has a specific gravity of 0.97 to 0.98. This high performance can be used as a cationic surfactant, phase transfer agent, algaecide, fungicide, and sanitizer disinfectant. It is in high demand due to its rapid action formula. Benzalkonium Chloride 50% solution (BKC) is incompatible with flames, high temperatures, and foodstuffs hence it is advised to keep it away from these products.Niquat BKC-50

Niquat BKC is an aqueous solution of dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride. It is a colourless to slightly yellowish liquid. Niquat BKC is made from more than 97% C12 alkyl dimethyl amines to ensure highest effectiveness as a biocide. It has wide ranging applications as biocide including disinfectant formulations for skin, toileteries and as a inhibitor for microbe induced corrosion. It is also effective as a phase transfer catalyst, and further finds use as a cationic surfactant.
